Easter the turning point in mankinds future

on Apr3 2010

Easter. The turning point of many of mankind’s accomplishments. It gave reason for making the World better. At a time in history, when savage customs took little consideration of their neighbors feelings or needs. The have and have not’s were distinguished by rulers, merchants, priests and soldiers.  The others were victims of the need to survive. Hope for a better future was mandated by these people (not a lot different from today)..  but

Then came to life a promise from God almighty, as in the old testament was written. Fulfillment of a promise. God had shown presence with many miracles and promises kept, over hundreds of years.

Now came the turning point of mankind, through the body of a man we call Jesus. Through his messages and his life we were given another chance, (and again we are at another turning point). The proof is in the putting, of his body into the earth (a cave) and then brought back to show that life exists beyond this World we, meaning our physical body, share.

God made clear that his love for us is never ending. And also that God wants us to look to and trust in God. Let us not waste our time here, living the same mistakes those who lived when Jesus did. God gave us the gift of life to improve our body mind and especially spirit. Before we go home.

Easter is  the day of a miracle to remember as a happy day for all mankind. What ever your belief. God is Greater then we could ever imagine. Look to and trust in God to help you through your life.

Amen

A Brief Overview of Alternative Cancer Treatments

on Mar29 2010

A Story: Suppose you own an antique dining room table which is worth many tens of thousands of dollars. Suppose your butler tells you that there are dozens of cockroaches crawling around on your priceless table and you will be having dinner guests in one hour.

Your butler informs you that his job description does not include killing cockroaches and as he is leaving your house he offers you four options for getting rid of the cockroaches:
1) He offers you a chainsaw to “slash” the little critters to pieces,
2) He offers you a large and powerful flamethrower to “burn” the critters to pieces,
3) He offers you 2 gallons of a highly, highly toxic liquid chemical to “poison” the critters, and
4) He offers you an old $1 flyswatter.

Which of the four options would you use to get rid of the cockroaches? Would you choose one of the first three options (slash, burn and poison) because they are highly potent at killing cockroaches or would you choose the cheap, wimpy flyswatter?

Think about why you would make your choice.

Most likely you would pick the flyswatter because the other three items (which are far more powerful than a flyswatter at killing cockroaches) are also massively powerful at destroying your priceless table!!

Chemotherapy (the toxic chemical above), surgery (the chainsaw above) and radiation (the flamethrower above) do kill cancer cells, but they also kill healthy cells (the priceless antique table), damage the immune system, damage the ability of your digestive tract to process nutrients, etc. because they do not target cancer cells. Thus, these treatments cannot cure cancer (which has spread) without killing the patient first.

By comparison, alternative cancer treatments (the flyswatter), while not as powerful as the other items, are far more effective at treating cancer because these treatments either target cancer cells or do not damage your healthy cells, Thus they can be given in much higher doses than any of the “orthodox” cancer treatments. Plus the many alternative cancer treatments can generally be combined.

End of Story

This Cancer Tutor website has more than 150 articles or chapters on alternative cancer treatments and is generally considered to be one of the most important websites on the Internet on the subject of alternative cancer treatments (aka “natural cancer treatments”). Many alternative cancer treatment researchers have made significant contributions to the importance of this website!!

Since you probably already know about orthodox cancer treatments, let me tell you a short story to highlight the difference between orthodox cancer treatments and alternative cancer treatments:

NASA closing? fuel for thought

on Mar5 2010

Okay, so our President is going to cancel NASA. What if his reasons are not only budget?

Hypothetically, let’s put ourselves in his shoes. What if he knew things that public does not know about the future of space travel?

Hypothetically of course, if the President knew the extent of our military technology, compared to public sector. Which NASA is a, for the public’s benefit agency. On the other hand, though our military is for public benefit but the best and most futuristic technology has always been kept a secret from the public.

It’s easy to imagine our Military Aerospace Research dollars have made much greater strides then NASA has.  Shuttling satellites and science projects into space while delivering parts to the International Space Station has helped us. But now maybe it is time to look for better way to get into space.

Hypothetically speaking, of course, what if our President knows that we have a technology so advanced that it would be foolish to spend any more money doing things the way we are.

In retrospect, if propeller airplanes were the only aircraft around, and our government learned of a craft called a jet plane. Do you think they would want to keep spending money building airplanes? If our military had anti gravity flying machines  that could replace billion dollar rocket technology. Would it be wise to stop wastefully spending on rockets?

Imagine if space craft really do exists and scientists have  reverse engineered them. Do you think that they would tell us? Wouldn’t you think there would be a time, when they have to tell us? Wouldn’t it be right to stop wasting money, before telling the public. They have also spent billions on another technology, that will replace rockets?

More likely governments would keep a weapon like that secret and just stop publicly delivering payloads into space. I did not say they would stop, I’m just suggesting. Why make noise and report each launch, when they can do it quietly at night?

Fact Finders, Ufologists and government Watch-dogs, report cover-ups that would explain sightings of a identifiable flying objects, speculate government involvement in unconventional aircraft technology.

Reports of revolutionary new energy technologies have  surfaced in various parts of the globe. One, an engine is said to deify gravity. Having no friction it generated energy with little or no heat / power loss.  How would you, if you were the President go about telling the general public.  Where this technology came from? How much it cost to develop it? And, why it took so long to make it public?

Just something to think about. Time will tell.

a dream that seemed real

on Mar4 2010

In my dream, a cat belonging to my late aunt was on my shoulder, as I walked towards this apartment type building, with stairs that dogs and cats were free to bark at us from the doors of the occupant. Not wanting to cross the path of a noisy pit bull blocking our path. I went to other stairs but instead of making someone move. I hurdled the rail with ease and in slow motion. Though I didn’t fly, it was entertaining and the amused crowd of onlookers without emotions enjoyed the out of the ordinary movement. They reacted with laughs and cheers, and I didn’t think they were even aware I was being watched until then.
It was all so clear a dream it was as if I were awake and then I arrived at a door and then I woke up.

DREAM TRANSLATED (below)
In the after life we might become either;

Urban residents = over crowded and stuck,
and/or
Rural residents = able to go everywhere

Urbanites; being where good people go to fix emotional problems, examples; addictions, prejudice, hate, unforgiving… They’re stuck because of unfinished issues. Some may see it as hell (for the lack of a better name) while others see it as a place a soul get helped. There is no time or a perceivable end. For them, their company could be other souls dealing with the same issue. They’d have nothing to do but wait for anything to happen.

Without a body that needs food or rest, no physical pain but this leave room for emotional pains to become magnified. Chinese believe there are thousands of levels of hell. the Christians believe there is a hierarchy for angles. They’re many levels in between arriving and a final destination.  Crossing over  has been described by some ( whom converse with the dead, for one author, James Van Praagh) going to places that looked  “like hospitals” and “apartments” where souls live and get help. So they stay, in a that place that time is not measured they wait. Until those angel friends wishing to help arrive life there becomes mundane. They become numb in the brain, and accept where they are. They have No Choice. These are the Numskulls of this message.

Numskulls may only need to forget or forgive, but they can’t let go of what holds them there, being stuck in their emotional trappings, they stay waiting for change, (if it were rural heaven, if you think it, answers will come). Perhaps all a Numskull needs to do is, want to be a seagull, and they will be set free to be one.

I’m sure it’s not that easy but this story/message translation was from a dream and what I understand as facts, derived from other people I have read about.

To continue, those Rural residents existed in a world quite opposite the urbanites. Enlightened, to the knowledge of the fabric of, Why. Free to be anywhere and everywhere you find pleasure. Open to feel music and be a part of a larger life.

The area between urban and rural is not a fine line but wide.  For those that cross over with excess baggage, may find it to wide once they arrived.

I feel it is good I built the website, Regrettoinform.com, to help people say what they need. To cross over with a clear conscience is like going to confession for Catholics. It allows you to let go of what could cause you to end up with unfinished or unsettled issues. Perhaps prevent  ending up in this type of environment.

February Flew By So Fast & So Much Happened

on Mar1 2010

In MARCH ; We have Daylight Savings Time on Sun. 14th & Saint Patrick’s Day the Wen. 17th and the Spring equinox on the 20th.

February flew by so fast and so much happened. Besides Valentines Day, the memorable things that come to mind over the past 28 day were all but common. The past week Chili had an 8.8 earthquake.  Yesterday I was glued to the T.V. with concerns for friends and family in Hawaii, on tsunami alert. And the rest of the Pacific as well.

Along with Ground-hog’s Day, World Cancer Day, Lincoln’s B-Day, Presidents Day, Mardi Gras (fat Tuesday), Chinese New Year, Ash Wednesday. All in 28-days, it’s no wonder I missed my deadline.

But again the topper was the  earthquake in Chile and waking to news a tsunami was going to hit. I had no idea where it was coming from or going to hit. I had checked a fbook message on my phone and read something about it. Every thing outside looked quiet as normal and then the radio confirmed an earthquake had happened.

Now I started to wonder even after learning Hawaii was the target and not L.A. and though I live miles inland, I am in a flood zone. The likelihood of water hitting home is slim, with the man made canals for rain run off leading to the ocean. I figured the direction would have to be head on. But the again, what do I know? I figure an earthquake will destroy my home first.

Isn’t  it sad I have expectations of how I might lose the roof over my head. Oh and by the way being robbed is at the top of my list, followed by a an earthquake which might cause a fire. I doubt a car will run into it or my appliances will malfunction though my roof might fall-in, if it ever snow in sunny southern California. But floods? It hasn’t been that wet in the Valley in my life time. But I do remember there was a swamp around when I was a kid.

Oh what webs we weave to overlook the deeds we need to take care about, just to get by because of natures wrath. I no I should buy flood insurance. You live in a zone that requires you to do things (like clear brush and debris to prevent fires, flash floods and landslides) California has others but not tornadoes, hurricanes or dams to fear. We are mainly waiting to see what happens after one of our many quakes has a movement.

Maybe this is the way things are going to be. And for awhile we will continue to look to the television for a reprieve. And answers to our prayer for those less fortunate then us.

On a more upbeat thought from February is the  2010 Winter Olympics. Cheers to all the great athletes that brought  the World together in peaceful competition one more time. All of them winners of memories and stories they will tell the rest of their lives.

The should save their videos on our website so they can always open and show them anytime online. I know I would like to be able to have my video library always available. Granted my Metal would not be there but the pictures would be.

In MARCH ; We have Daylight Savings Time on Sun. 14th & Saint Patrick’s Day the Wen. 17th and the Spring equinox on the 20th.

Enjoy March! It has  31 days and an extra paycheck for most of us. July 4th celebrations and summer is just around the corner.
Only 9 more months until Christmas after this Month.

Overweight and Obesity: Health Consequences Office of the Surgeon General (OSG)

on Feb2 2010

The primary concern of overweight and obesity is one of health and not appearance.

PREMATURE DEATH

  • An estimated 300,000 deaths per year may be attributable to obesity.
  • The risk of death rises with increasing weight.
  • Even moderate weight excess (10 to 20 pounds for a person of average height) increases the risk of death, particularly among adults aged 30 to 64 years.
  • Individuals who are obese (BMI > 30)* have a 50 to 100% increased risk of premature death from all causes, compared to individuals with a healthy weight.

HEART DISEASE

  • The incidence of heart disease (heart attack, congestive heart failure, sudden cardiac death, angina or chest pain, and abnormal heart rhythm) is increased in persons who are overweight or obese (BMI > 25).*
  • High blood pressure is twice as common in adults who are obese than in those who are at a healthy weight.
  • Obesity is associated with elevated triglycerides (blood fat) and decreased HDL cholesterol (”good cholesterol”).

DIABETES

  • A weight gain of 11 to 18 pounds increases a person’s risk of developing type 2 diabetes to twice that of individuals who have not gained weight.
  • Over 80% of people with diabetes are overweight or obese.

CANCER

  • Overweight and obesity are associated with an increased risk for some types of cancer including endometrial (cancer of the lining of the uterus), colon, gall bladder, prostate, kidney, and postmenopausal breast cancer.
  • Women gaining more than 20 pounds from age 18 to midlife double their risk of postmenopausal breast cancer, compared to women whose weight remains stable.

BREATHING PROBLEMS

  • Sleep apnea (interrupted breathing while sleeping) is more common in obese persons.
  • Obesity is associated with a higher prevalence of asthma.

ARTHRITIS

  • For every 2-pound increase in weight, the risk of developing arthritis is increased by 9 to 13%.
  • Symptoms of arthritis can improve with weight loss.

REPRODUCTIVE COMPLICATIONS

  • Complications of pregnancy
Obesity during pregnancy is associated with increased risk of death in both the baby and the mother and increases the risk of maternal high blood pressure by 10 times.
  • In addition to many other complications, women who are obese during pregnancy are more likely to have gestational diabetes and problems with labor and delivery.
  • Infants born to women who are obese during pregnancy are more likely to be high birthweight and, therefore, may face a higher rate of Cesarean section delivery and low blood sugar (which can be associated with brain damage and seizures).
  • Obesity during pregnancy is associated with an increased risk of birth defects, particularly neural tube defects, such as spina bifida

ADDITIONAL HEALTH CONSEQUENCES

  • Overweight and obesity are associated with increased risks of gall bladder disease, incontinence, increased surgical risk, and depression.
  • Obesity can affect the quality of life through limited mobility and decreased physical endurance as well as through social, academic, and job discrimination.

CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

  • Risk factors for heart disease, such as high cholesterol and high blood pressure, occur with increased frequency in overweight children and adolescents compared to those with a healthy weight.
  • Type 2 diabetes, previously considered an adult disease, has increased dramatically in children and adolescents. Overweight and obesity are closely linked to type 2 diabetes.
  • Overweight adolescents have a 70% chance of becoming overweight or obese adults. This increases to 80% if one or more parent is overweight or obese.
  • The most immediate consequence of overweight, as perceived by children themselves, is social discrimination.

BENEFITS OF WEIGHT LOSS

  • Weight loss, as modest as 5 to 15% of total body weight in a person who is overweight or obese, reduces the risk factors for some diseases, particularly heart disease.
  • Weight loss can result in lower blood pressure, lower blood sugar, and improved cholesterol levels.
  • A person with a Body Mass Index (BMI) above the healthy weight range* may benefit from weight loss, especially if he or she has other health risk factors, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking, diabetes, a sedentary lifestyle, and a personal and/or family history of heart disease.

*Please see fact sheet “Measuring Overweight and Obesity” for a definition of BMI.

Is Your Credit Score as High as You Think?

on Feb2 2010

It is common to assume that paying bills on time automatically means having a high credit score. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. There are many misperceptions about how scores are calculated — and yours could be lower than you might expect.

Credit scores are used by financial institutions to determine whether they should lend money to a potential borrower and, if so, what interest rate should be charged. A higher score means an applicant is statistically less likely to default on the loan so they get a lower interest rate.

Ignoring your credit score could be a costly mistake. As an example, let’s say you bought a $400,000 house with a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage at a 6-percent interest rate. Over the term of the loan, you would pay interest charges of $463,354. If, however, you had a lower score and your bank bumped your interest rate up to 8 percent, you would pay interest charges of $656,619. That’s a hefty difference of $193,265.

There are many credit scoring systems available to lenders, but FICO scores are by far the most commonly used. The system was developed by the Fair Isaac Corporation back in the 1960s. Technically, you have three different FICO scores — one for each of the three major credit reporting agencies.

Knowing how FICO scores are calculated can help you make better decisions about your credit. At a minimum, you should be aware of some of the most common misperceptions:

I always pay my bills on time so I must have a high credit score.

Paying your bills on time is clearly a critical factor, but it only accounts for 35 percent of your overall FICO score. It also looks at four other components: the amount of debt you owe (30 percent), the length of your credit history (15 percent), the number of credit accounts you’ve recently opened (10 percent), and the types of credit you use (10 percent).

Consolidating multiple credit cards will increase my score.

Consolidating credit cards could make it easier to pay down debt, but your FICO score could actually decrease if you consolidate to fewer accounts with balances that are closer to the maximum available credit. FICO considers you a lower risk if you have multiple credit accounts, keep the payments up-to-date, and maintain balances between 25 percent and 35 percent of the available credit.

I don’t have any credit cards or other major debt so I can’t have a low score.

Your FICO score doesn’t take into account your net worth or your income level — it only looks at your past borrowing history. Your FICO score will be lower if you haven’t established a long-term borrowing history with multiple creditors.

Closing a credit card is better for my score than keeping it open.

Closing a credit card will not necessarily hurt your score in the short term, but you will eventually lose the positive effects of the long-term credit history that you’ve established with that lender.

I shouldn’t shop around for a mortgage or other large loan because credit inquiries hurt my score.

A large number of credit inquiries will lower your score, but FICO is smart enough to know when you are rate shopping. Inquiries for similar types of credit are bundled if they’re made within the same 14-day period.

I shouldn’t check my credit report more than once a year because credit inquiries hurt my score.

Checking your own credit report does not affect your score, so feel free to check it as many times as you’d like.

If you want to learn more about how FICO scores are calculated, visit Fair Isaac’s web site at www.myfico.com. They offer a host of informational materials and credit score tips. And while you’re at it, you can also order your three scores for a small fee.

Becoming more knowledgeable about FICO scores could help you to keep those pesky interest rates at a minimum. With just a small investment of time, you will be able to make smarter credit decisions and take proactive steps to increase your score.

parents care but don’t always show it

on Jan29 2010

Somewhere is a father that would like nothing more than to say, “your mom and I didn’t see eye to eye, or I would’ve been there”.

Somewhere is a mother that wants to explain, why she thought adoption was best for her baby.

Somewhere is a young adult, wondering how can a parent not care about me? And when it’s all over neither know the truth.

I am pretty sure every parent thinks about their children even if they are not part of their kids life. Causing millions to grow up believing, a parent didn’t loved them.

It’s human nature to avoid conflict. Sometimes reasoning or circumstance breaks the bonds of communication and parenthood. Jealousy, shame, incarceration, location, addiction, ego or just plain hatred for one’s ex spouse. These are all excuses that they are still the cause not to be taken personally by the children of divorce.

I can only imagine the grief of wanting to tell my son or daughter, “I thought about you every single day of my life” but couldn’t. And the desire to explain and apologize for my actions, or lack of them. It may not be what the kid needs, but it might be what I would needs to say before crossing over.

I think a lot of people in this world, that have heart wrenching feelings they wished they could express. But for one reason or another they cannot say it. Perhaps the person you want to talk to is married and you are not welcome. Or a brother or sister unsettled argument. Maybe you committed a crime, that you feel guilty about and would like to make things right. These are things you can do with after life messages from regret to inform. It’s called bringing closure to ones life, of taking care of unfinished business.

Personally, I would like to tell certain people how much I loved them. And yes, some are married, and no I do not contact them. That’s because I love them I leave them alone.

  • Do you have any kids you have not talked to lately?
  • Have any family or friends been distant lately or might need your guidance?
  • Do you have any old girlfriends or boyfriends, to say goodbye to?
  • Maybe you would just like to say, the party is over for me, enjoy the rest of your life, and I’ll see you at the next gathering.

Like the mother and father mentioned above, there are children and grandchildren that will never know the good person you were. Unless you take this opportunity to tell your side of the story.
Is there anything you would like to say, that would be a burden off your shoulders but you can’t say it?
Apologies and confessions are sometimes better left unsaid, but sometimes it’s better they are said to help everyone, move on.

The catch to this is, you have to do it while you are alive. Not so hard to understand, is it? You say anything and add an email address. You’ll help them over the greif of losing you, that is if they liked you in the firstplace. If not just say goodbye to your friends with style.

If you died today, who would take care of your family?
